MRV Systems

Monitoring, reporting & verification — engineered for audit.

A unified MRV stack combining satellite remote sensing, LoRaWAN-embedded IoT field instrumentation, drone imagery, SCADA bridges to renewable plants, and ground crews. Designed for forestry, methane, soil carbon, livestock, waste and renewables — and structured to survive third-party verification.

Overview

Practice positioning.

Most carbon programmes fail at MRV. Either the data is too sparse to defend the claim, or the data is rich but the methodology mapping is wrong. CAS treats MRV as a pipeline: source instruments, ingestion and quality control, methodology-aligned calculation, immutable evidence storage, and a verifier-facing data room. We build for both the project developer and the verifier. That dual lens is why our deployments tend to clear validation in fewer cycles. For renewable assets we add a SCADA bridge (OPC-UA, IEC 61850, ModBus TCP, DNP3) that maps plant telemetry to ISO 14064-2 emission-reduction baselines. For methane abatement and air quality we deploy battery-powered LoRaWAN sensors (CH₄, CO₂, NO₂, PM₂.₅) that uplink to private gateways — long range, multi-year battery, no SIM, no cellular dead-zones.

Engagement model

How CAS delivers.

Phase 01

Methodology fit

Confirm which methodology (VCS, GS, ACR, Art 6.4 MS) the project will use, and reverse-engineer the data plan from its monitoring requirements.

Phase 02

Sensor architecture

Select the right mix of satellite, LoRaWAN IoT, SCADA bridges, drone and ground sampling for the activity, geography and budget.

Phase 03

Pipeline & QA

Ingest, normalise, gap-fill, flag anomalies. Calculate emission reductions/removals with full uncertainty propagation.

Phase 04

Verifier handover

Publish a structured evidence package — raw data, transformations, calculations, sampling logs — to the verifier portal.
