VVB Readiness & Technical Documentation Support
CAS prepares carbon projects, organisational GHG inventories and Article 6 documentation for submission to independent, accredited Validation & Verification Bodies. We are not a VVB — we are the technical consultancy that gets clients submission-ready.
Where CAS sits in the assurance chain.
Modern carbon markets demand a clear separation of duties between the parties that prepare a project and the parties that assure it. Carbon Advisory Services (CAS) operates exclusively as an independent technical consultancy. We support clients in building rigorous, audit-ready documentation — GHG inventories, PDDs, monitoring systems, and evidence packs — for submission to accredited Validation and Verification Bodies and other recognised assurance providers.
CAS does not issue validation or verification opinions. That role belongs to accredited VVBs operating under ISO/IEC 17029 and the impartiality requirements of their accreditation bodies. Our work is designed to make their job efficient, defensible, and conclusive.

From draft to verified — six controlled stages.
Consultant Preparation
CAS drafts PDD, inventory, or evidence pack to the relevant methodology and standard.
Internal QA/QC
Independent senior reviewer applies materiality, completeness, and consistency checks.
Evidence Compilation
Source documents, raw data, calculation workbooks indexed against a traceability matrix.
Mock Review
Ex-VVB practitioners simulate a validation audit and issue draft CARs/CLs/FARs.
VVB Submission
Client submits the package to their chosen accredited VVB. CAS does not validate.
Clarification Support
CAS supports the client in responding to VVB findings until the assurance opinion is issued.
A consultancy built for assurance-grade outcomes.
Who we support.
Standards & frameworks.
Carbon Advisory Services (CAS) operates solely as a consultancy and technical advisory organisation. Final validation, verification, and assurance opinions are conducted independently by accredited Validation & Verification Bodies (VVBs) in accordance with applicable standards and impartiality requirements, including ISO/IEC 17029, ISO 14065, ISO 14066, and the rules of the relevant accreditation body.
Brief CAS on your project pipeline.
Senior practitioners will scope a readiness pathway, identify documentation gaps, and propose a VVB-facing workplan within ten working days.
